Why oh why is it that shoe manufactures with wide or extra wide shoes don't increase the size of the laces or straps to actually FIT the width of the shoes???? Case in point with this shoe, only the last half of the velcro grabs - while the shoe itself is fairly loose without being strapped (so it isn't a too small size issue - it is a strap length issue). The size ran small and I should have ordered a size larger. But, after three months of use, the padding on the heel counter has frayed, irritating my ankle. I taped it but it is not the same. I would not buy again, being diabetic shoes are inportant ,these feel goodNpFit perfectly. I have very bad feet. Only Problem that I am concerned about is that the Velcro straps seem flimsy and I do not think they will last long. I will probably be in touch with ortho ifThey give way too soonThey fit good. Feel like a quality shoe that will last. My feet feel stable and balanced. My feet are not rolling to the side like my Dr. Sholl's shoes did. That caused them to wear uneven. They are a very comfortable shoe to wear everyday. Between the shoes and diabetic socks. My neuropathy hasn't acted up in a few days, no pain walking.Wouldn't know about the benefits of this shoe since I can't get one that fits.
